It is absolutely mind blowing how vibrant nature can be, and how satisfying it is to just surround yourself with a beautiful environment. I recently traveled to Bok Tower Gardens and was so amazed by the gorgeous flowers and greenery, along with the architecture of the tower and surrounding buildings. Hands down, it was one of the prettiest places I've ever been to. One thing I really enjoyed was the calmness. The scenery spoke for itself. You didn't need fancy attractions or flashy signs. You could just sit under the trees for hours looking up at the sky and admiring the world around you. It was a much needed refresher from the fast paced world we live in.
I filmed a vlog and took a few pictures, but it's crazy how they don't even compare to the real thing.
From this experience, I've realized how important it is to take a break and enjoy the things that nature gives us for free. Instead of staring at our screens, go out and look at the real thing! I've always felt this way, but with class assignments and managing my youtube channel and blog, I've found that I am not always able to actually do it.
