Autumn means cooler weather, warm drinks, sweaters, boots, and everything cozy. One thing I love in the fall would be picnics. There's just something about spending time outside with a little food and a cute outfit, of course. For my outfit, I am wearing a navy and white striped sweater, which is actually my mom's shhh... I chose to pair this orange jersey scarf with the sweater because it was a solid color so as not to distract from the stripes, and it also contrasted well with the navy blue. Jeans were a must, and I wore a pair of leopard print flats to add some dressiness. I would describe this outfit as classy and casual. Each piece of the outfit compliments another, and I loved mixing stripes and leopard print.

How has your fall been so far? What are your favorite fall activities? Let me know and have a fabulous day!

Let's Eat Greek

combat boots and jeans

green lace crop top and high waisted jeans

Traveling is something I definitely want to do after I graduate high school and college. I'd absolutely LOVE to go to Greece. But for now, the closest substitute is to go out to my local Greek restaurant and order some chicken souvlaki. Good enough right? So for my lunch outfit, I decided to wear a green lace shirt from Macy's and my high waisted jeans from Aeropostale because the shirt is actually cropped. I paired it with a geometric print pom pom scarf, also from Aeropostale, and my black combat boots from Target (be prepared to see these boots in a lot of my posts as the weather cools down). My three bracelets are made by me, and they make the outfit a little more casual and bohemian, rather than edgy (which could be done by adding some metal accents like a silver cuff bracelet). This could be worn as a traveling outfit, or a lunch date ensemble as I did. It's nice to wear for cool weather, but if you have actual cold weather, I'd suggest a jacket because I was kinda chilly. Anyways, have a fabulous first day of November!

I never liked plaid when I was younger. It looked too boy-ish, and I was way too delicate and girly to wear it (in my mind). But just recently, this adorable plaid flowy dress at Tilly's caught my eye and I couldn't leave it on the rack, especially since it was on clearance too! It was girly enough for my style, and I could imagine it with a cute cardigan, or an edgy leather jacket like the one in today's outfit. As the weather began to cool down, my combat boots were literally screaming my name from the inside of my closet. So I paired them with my new dress too, and they tied the whole look together.
And of course, an outfit is not complete without accessories, so I layered some mixed metal charm necklaces to add an edgy, effortless, and somewhat boho twist. I am so in love with this ensemble and it has definitely opened my mind towards different prints, especially plaid, which is perfect for the fall.

Hope you liked this outfit and that you were inspired to try new prints haha! Have a super fabulous day!
