Polka Dots and Mint

I absolutely love Disney. It just always puts me in a happy mood and brings out the kid in me (not that it ever left haha). Anyways, I recently went to Downtown Disney and I wanted to wear an outfit that fit well with the fun vibe but also agreed with the hot, humid weather. The final ensemble consisted of these super cute and fun polka dot shorts that are short enough to keep you cool but long enough to maintain a classy and somewhat conservative style, a light mint top, green strappy sandals, and my favorite teal purse. For accessories I am wearing a mint/ light teal watch, a chain statement necklace that has little turquoise rocks in it, and some nautical looking aviator sunglasses. And by nautical looking, I mean that it has a little anchor charm on it haha. I think this is a great stylish and girly summer outfit for vacation or even just going out to the mall! It was definitely comfortable and I think it matched the Disney theme well! Another thing I love about Disney would be the food. Oh. My. Gosh. Everything is just too cute, especially the Mickey Macarons. Besides that, I also found a really cute book called "The Little Dictionary of Fashion" by Christian Dior. I wanted it so badly, but I'm saving for a camera, and since my computer is almost full with all of my pictures and videos, I should probably invest in an external hard drive too. But anyways, I really hope you enjoyed this post, and I'm sorry I've been posting mostly videos lately. As much as I love summer, I'm actually really excited to go back to school! I always love thinking of new outfits to wear, so I made a back to school outfits video! Casual OOTD - Bass Pro Shops

 

I used to never like going to any other stores besides clothing stores and fabric stores, but now I'm pretty much open to going anywhere! One place in particular that I think is a really fun store would be Bass Pro Shops! It is literally soooo cool in there and its HUGE! I'm not even into fishing or hunting haha I just like looking at how they decorated, AND there's a huge fish tank too! So yeah, as you can tell, I went to Bass Pro Shops recently and I decided to make a post on my casual outfit of the day! I've been really loving the fashion kimono trend and when I found this knit kimono/ cardigan, I literally freaked! It's super perfect for spring!

Beach Day - What's in my Beach Bag

I just recently went to a sports banquet and I figured it would be fun to film a "get ready with me" video! I actually got ready for it in less than 15 minutes, and it was in my school's bathroom haha (ew). I am so excited for spring to come! It is my absolute favorite season! Anyways, here's an outfit that would work on a warmer winter day and it could easily be worn in spring as well! I love how all of the colors stand out! This outfit could also work with mint jeans/ jeggings if it's too cold for shorts, and you could also substitute the white sneakers for some black combat boots for an edgier vibe!

New Years Resolutions

Happy New Years! 2013 has definitely been an amazing year! I have experienced so much and I definitely feel that I have changed, but in a good way :)  I am ready to start new and begin 2014! Anyways, writing resolutions are always a must for me. It helps me stay motivated and gives me an outlet to express my positivity. Last year, surprisingly, I actually accomplished and followed through with all of my resolutions, so now I am looking forward to continuing those I have down and also adding new ones! In this post I will be revealing some of my resolutions, and also providing tips to create your own! Oh and lets just throw an outfit of the day in there too! :)

  

Okay, down to business... here are some of my new years resolutions for 2014:

1.) No procrastination allowed, especially on school work!

2.) Stop useless spending (buying chips, candy, clothes you will never wear, etc.)

3.) Don't get so stressed, be more relaxed (not lazy though)

4.) Keep everything clean and organized (room, backpack, phone, etc.)

*Now, here's some tips for making your own and sticking with them!

1.) Think of attainable goals. Things that are not too over the top. I'm not discouraging you to dream big, but to decrease the risk of disappointment if you don't accomplish your goal, think about things that are more likely to happen than winning the lottery. Just be realistic.

2.) Think of things that you are already doing "right" and work to continue those.

3.) Think about the problems you had last year and possible solutions for those problems. (Ex. If it takes you forever to do your homework, maybe you should put away your phone or turn off the TV while you work.)

4.) After you think of all your resolutions, write them down in some place visible so that you can see them every day. This will remind you of your goals and help motivate you to go out and accomplish them!

5.) It's okay to change your goals/ resolutions after you've come up with them. Life happens and you just have to go with it.

I found this adorable mint jacket at Target! Shhh.. it's actually from the kids section... But hey, if you can fit, why not take advantage of the lower prices right?
