DIY Rug Bag

I was shopping through the dollar store looking for Valentines day goodies, yes I like to shop early, and I came across these beautiful woven rugs! My immediate reaction was "OMG I could make a bag out of this!" And since they were only one dollar each, I bought two. And of course I had to share how I made it, typical Lauren, so here's a video tutorial! I am so in love with this DIY rug bag, I have a feeling that it will be my favorite accessory for the upcoming spring season!

Happy sewing and have a fabulous day!

Making My Homecoming Dress

I think it's safe to say that homecoming is one of my favorite parts of the school year. Everyone is pretty much all excited about the same thing, and there's so much school spirit throughout the week! Every year I make my dress for the dance, and every year I get asked how in the world I made it from scratch.  So, I decided to put together a video of my design process and me sewing the dress because I really enjoy it and hopefully it will give you some ideas if you want to make a dress too! I tried to give some little sewing tips throughout the video, so hopefully they're helpful! I am super proud how my dress came out, I think it was my best homecoming dress out of the four I've made throughout high school! And... It was the first dress I finished early, which is an accomplishment for me because I finished all of the other dresses the day of the dance hahaha! It only took me four years to learn not to procrastinate lol. Alright, have a super fab day lovelies and I'll talk to you in my next post!!

DIY Pom Pom Shorts

Good morning! I've been loving the pom pom shorts trend for awhile now and I finally got around to making my own! I've seen them all over social media, mostly tumblr, and I just had to film a tutorial on how to make your own! This fashion diy is really simple and I'm totally gonna rock these throughout the whole summer, no joke. I like that they're super fun and unique and they can be dressed up or down depending on what you pair them with. I hope you enjoy my tutorial and let me know what you think! Have a fabulous day!
