OOTD Striped Ruffle Dress

One of my goals for 2017 is to feature more of the clothes that I make on my blog and on my YouTube channel. I feel like sometimes I get so caught up in making fun videos that I forget to show you guys what I've been working on and working towards as far as my career goes. And since I am getting deeper into my college education, I believe that featuring my growth and skills would be beneficial to the future of my career as well as to those of you who want to go into similar industries. Anyways, for this short video, I wanted to show this dress that I made for my birthday! I made it in one night because my birthday was the next day, and I ended up using almost every single scrap I had left of that fabric (which is why the stripes don't match up in the bodice... oh well). Sassy 17

So my birthday was on December 14th :) and I turned 17!!!! It wasn't a "Sweet 16" it was a "Sassy 17!" Haha I stayed at a really nice hotel by the beach with my best friends and it was seriously the most amazing experience I've had, and definitely the best birthday I've had. Everything was so perfect! We dressed up in fancy dresses, took pictures and then we changed and just hung out on the grounds. I am so grateful for this experience, and I want to thank my dad for making it all happen for me, and also my friends Ana and Brooke for being so amazing <3 So here are some pictures!!

  

  

If you're wondering where I got my dress, it was from Ross for only $16, and my shoes are from Payless. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Let me know what you think!
