Feeling Floral

floral shorts, quilted leather bag, heart sunglasses, spring outfit

quilted leather bag

metallic and pastel nail design

I guess I'm already dressing for the next season! Spring is my favorite season, so when I saw these shorts on sale at American Eagle in my exact size, I just had to buy them. They have a ruffled edge at the bottom hem which makes these shorts really flirty and girly, not that the print didn't already do that! I paired these with a plain fitted black tee and two simple gold necklaces. I got this quilted leather black purse from one of my friends for my birthday and I was so ecstatic, I'm not even exaggerating. I've been wanting a purse like this for a lifetime, and I think it looks absolutely amazing with this outfit. Oh yeah, and I finally got a new pair of heart shaped sunglasses! My old ones broke, which broke my heart hahaha just kidding, but I was still slightly depressed about it. I don't know why I like them so much, but my parents sure think they're odd. Oh well, I think I look spiffy. As for my nails, I used a light purple sand lacquer from Forever 21, and then I painted over half of my nail with a metallic silver polish. It's like a subtle graphic design. Well enough of me talking, I have to go and pick my outfit for tomorrow! Hope you have a fabulous day!

Movie Theater and Burgers

Funny thing about going to the movie theater, I never want to go but once I do, I usually end up really enjoying it! Maybe it's because I'd rather be active and doing something instead of just sitting and staring at a screen, but when I actually decide to go, I have a few outfit guidelines. I'm always cold in the movie theater, I don't know if it's just me or if having the air conditioning on high is just a thing, so I like to wear a sweater or bring a light jacket. I also like to wear jeans to keep my legs warm. Overall, I tend to wear clothes that are comfortable and warm. So here's a video of my most recent trip to the movies along with my outfit AND burgers because I love burgers. Have a fabulous day!

I absolutely love Disney. It just always puts me in a happy mood and brings out the kid in me (not that it ever left haha). Anyways, I recently went to Downtown Disney and I wanted to wear an outfit that fit well with the fun vibe but also agreed with the hot, humid weather. The final ensemble consisted of these super cute and fun polka dot shorts that are short enough to keep you cool but long enough to maintain a classy and somewhat conservative style, a light mint top, green strappy sandals, and my favorite teal purse. For accessories I am wearing a mint/ light teal watch, a chain statement necklace that has little turquoise rocks in it, and some nautical looking aviator sunglasses. And by nautical looking, I mean that it has a little anchor charm on it haha. I think this is a great stylish and girly summer outfit for vacation or even just going out to the mall! It was definitely comfortable and I think it matched the Disney theme well! Another thing I love about Disney would be the food. Oh. My. Gosh. Everything is just too cute, especially the Mickey Macarons. Besides that, I also found a really cute book called "The Little Dictionary of Fashion" by Christian Dior. I wanted it so badly, but I'm saving for a camera, and since my computer is almost full with all of my pictures and videos, I should probably invest in an external hard drive too. But anyways, I really hope you enjoyed this post, and I'm sorry I've been posting mostly videos lately. I got so excited starting my YouTube channel that I forgot how much I loved taking pictures and just blogging. So I hope you have a fab day!

I love to explore. I enjoy going to nature parks, the beach, new neighborhoods, pretty much anywhere you can walk around and find new things. Besides physical exploration, I love to explore through books and, of course, fashion. They can take you places you've never dreamed of and help you discover adventure in ordinary settings. I recently just finished "Gulliver's  Travels" by Jonathan Swift and it was very enjoyable. I had to read it for my English class, but it felt like I was reading for pleasure because it was so interesting. If you haven't read it already and you like adventure books, I definitely recommend it!

I am so excited for spring to come! It is my absolute favorite season! Anyways, here's an outfit that would work on a warmer winter day and it could easily be worn in spring as well! I love how all of the colors stand out! This outfit could also work with mint jeans/ jeggings if it's too cold for shorts, and you could also substitute the white sneakers for some black combat boots for an edgier vibe!

Outfit Details: Sweater (American Eagle), Mint Shorts (local beach store), White Watch (Macy's), White Sneakers (Target), Aviator Sunglasses, Earrings and Necklace (Charming Charlie's)

Fall-ing off the Edge

Fall is here! The weather is cooling down and it's time to break out our boots and scarves! For this edgy fall outfit, I am wearing a black shirt from Aeropostale. It has leather detail on the shoulders which helps bring in the black leather combat boots from Target. My jeans are from American Eagle. To add some color, I decided to add this coral/ orange scarf from Aeropostale. It has a layer of lace on one side and the other side is just the coral/ orange jersey fabric. And all around the edges there is this adorable dot trim that really adds an element of interest! For my other accessories I have on a BCBG leopard print bracelet that says FIERCE in gold letters, and I purchased that from Macys. Lastly, I have my favorite sunglasses at the moment. They are heart shaped aviator like ones from Urban Outfitters. I've worn them in past blog posts but I think they look good with many different outfits. Overall, this outfit is edgy with girly accents. You can wear it to school, the mall, a halloween festival/ party, or even a football game/ other sporting event! It's comfortable and still chic! Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this fall outfit idea! I'm super excited to post more fall outfits!
Do you have any cute fall outfit ideas?

Back To School Outfits

Almost everybody worries about what they want to wear to school. Your outfit has to show your personality and your best features while still being comfortable. I put together three different outfits to help put your mind at ease when picking outfits for school, especially for the first few weeks of school.

Outfit 1.) "Boho" (army green jacket- JCPenny, white lacy tunic- Aeropostale, black leggings- Ross, dangle necklace- American Eagle, gold stud earrings- Forever 21, brown sandals- DSW, Sunglasses- Urban Outfitters)

Outfit 2.) "Dressy" (black skater dress- PacSun/ Brandy Melville, loose gray sweater- Aeropostale,  Coach Poppy sneakers- Ross, statement necklace- Kohls, gold stud earrings- Forever 21, round black sunglasses- Aeropostale)

Outfit 3.) "Preppy" (blue and white striped dress- Abercrombie, jean jacket- Old Navy, floral sunglasses- Charming Charlie, silver bird dangle earrings- handmade, brown sandals- DSW)

I hope you were inspired by these outfits to create your own ensembles! My tips for great back to school outfits would be to get a few pieces that can dress up simple garments or add interest. You will need "go to items" for those days when you don't feel like waking up. Also, don't get anything you are not comfortable in because you definitely won't be comfortable in it after the 8 hour school day. Lastly, be yourself and show who you are! Good luck and start your school year with confidence!
